LIVING FAITH CHURCH: “DRAWING NEAR ~ REACHING OUT”

In order to purposefully guide the direction of a church, the Leadership needs to identify the ideals, priorities and issues that are most important to the body. Each of these can then be identified as a Core Value. Core Values provide the structure for the church—not only for future growth purposes, but also for all ongoing ministry and programs. In essence, they define who we are and what is most important to us. After much prayer and meditation, we believe these following seven items to be the Core Values of Living Faith Church of God.

I. DRAWING NEAR

Core Value:: PURPOSEFUL PRAYER
Seeking God’s Power and Direction through an Unwavering Commitment to Prayer.

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:12,13

Core Value: ANOINTED WORSHIP
Welcoming God’s Presence through a Sincere Worship Effort.

This people I have formed for Myself; they shall declare My praise. Isaiah 43:21

Core Value: DISCIPLESHIP – COMMITTED TO GOD’S WORD

Preaching & Teaching the Word to Equip All People for Victorious Christian Living & Kingdom Service

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. II Timothy 3:16,17

Core Value: EFFECTIVE EVANGELISM

Finding & Developing Effective Techniques for Reaching the Unsaved.

Practical Programs that Show Our Love to the Church & Community.

Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28

Core Value: YOUTH & CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES

A total Church Commitment to Programs, Activities & Ministries that Share our Beliefs and Heritage & Mentor Christian Youth & Children.

Core Value: BUILDING COMMUNITY THROUGH RELATIONSHIPS

Building Lasting Relationships in & among the Church that will Nurture & Mentor Christians & Strengthen the Body.

Tthat we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Ephesians 4:14-16
